Saying goodbye was never easy for him, even if he was the reason they died. That’s why for years after his victims were buried, he’d visit their graves and place the same bouquet at each one of their headstones. A ritual of sorts. It took a particularly thorough caretaker with ample free time to connect the dots, finally ending the Bayview Strangler’s reign of terror.

With traces of cherry blossom, rose, and freshly dug earth, you could almost smell the regret in his graveside posies. It’s as if he hoped the beautiful arrangement and pleasing aroma would bring his victims back to life. Some believe it worked, but not as he envisioned.

Candle Care

  • Allow the wax to melt to the edges of the candle on each burn to avoid tunneling
  • Trim the wick to a quarter inch before each burn
  • Trim excess carbon from the wick before each burn for optimal performance

Spooky never smelled so good

These candles burn smooth and long. The scents are clear but not cloying. The brown glass of the jars keeps the candlelight gentle in the dark and have labels that are a perfect fit in my house of Halloween lovers.

Macabre Candles

Candles are wonderful! They smell great, look good and shipping was quick!

Great purchase

I was concerned about how "good" the scents were for a company named "Macabre Candles". I bought a three pack. They all smell great even with the surprisingly accurate descriptions like "freshly dug dirt".

USPS did beat up two of my candles enough that the jar broke in multiple spots. I contacted the business and got replacements shipped and received within a week of getting the first package. Quick turn around and great product!
